This role reads the deal, then the clause. It states the intent of each side. The intent covers what each gives and expects. It then builds the obligation table. The table states what each side must do, for how long, and at what cost. It flags the risk terms. Indemnity, limitation, termination, and control are risk terms. It tests the language by plain meaning. A court would take the plain reading. It proposes changes in the document language.
